Stephanie's Story
Stephanie joined our Bridge to Balance team as a Marriage and Family Counselor after interning with us for six months. Stephanie completed her two-year residency program with Bridge to Balance and is now a Licensed Professional Counselor. Stephanie has experience working with families, couples and individuals.
Stephanie is passionate about helping her clients accomplish restoration, wholeness, and healing in their personal lives and relationships in a meaningful way. Stephanie helps her clients to focus on setting positive goals, achieving a healthy mindset and seeking personal growth. Stephanie incorporates a strengths-based approach implementing cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma focused techniques to assist her clients in achieving healing for themselves and in their relationship with others.
Stephanie specializes in Christian counseling with an emphasis on allowing God’s word to heal and restore! Her greatest desire is to see people reach their full created potential and gain awareness in knowing themselves and their God given purpose in life. Stephanie works with a wide range of people and concerns including anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and trauma!
In her free time Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. In addition to counseling, Stephanie enjoys serving student dancers through a dance ministry to worship the Lord! Stephanie and her husband are passionate about serving the Lord through their local church. Stephanie also enjoys reading, outdoor activities, taking trips to Disney World and coffee!
Stephanie uses her extensive training through Liberty University from a biblical perspective at Bridge to Balance! Stephanie has received specialized training in Functional Family Therapy, Children’s Regional Crisis Response, Applied Behavioral Analysis, and much more!
