Holly's Story
Holly Zimmerli is a dedicated Christian counselor who is currently pursuing a Master’s in
Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in
Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University in 2021, where her passion for mental
health care was solidified. Holly brings a thoughtful and empathetic approach to her work,
grounded in both clinical knowledge and a deep understanding of Biblical principles.
Holly has walked alongside individuals through various life stages and struggles in the clinical
and church setting. She is particularly passionate about helping individuals and couples heal
from past trauma, grow in emotional resilience, and deepen their relationship with God.
Holly is certified in SYMBIS (Save Your Marriage Before It Starts) - a premarital counseling
tool and enjoys working with couples to build strong, foundations for marriage. She believes that
healthy communication, and emotional connection are key elements in fostering lasting
relationships.
Holly has a special interest in integrating theology with psychology, focusing on the
transformative power of faith in the healing process. She is committed to walking with clients
through anxiety, depression, grief, spiritual struggles, and other life struggles, always offering a
compassionate and empathetic presence.
Outside of her counseling work, Holly enjoys going to the gym, riding horses, and serving at her
church. Holly’s relationship with the Lord is at the heart of everything she does. She views her
work as a calling and ministry, rooted in the belief that true healing and wholeness come through
Christ.
With a heart for service and a mission to help others thrive emotionally and spiritually, Holly is
committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those she counsels.
